The Emerging Architect Prize is Australia’s most prestigious prize awarded to emerging architects. The prize celebrates an emerging architect who is making an exemplary contribution to architecture and the profession.

REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN – SONA Superstudio 2019
Sat 3 – Sun 4 Aug 2019

SuperStudio focuses completely around the ideas of design, conceptual thinking and analytical responses through different design techniques and skills. Think of it as a creative license to do the things that you don’t get to do in studio or any other assignments. And all for free for SONA members.

You will be working in teams of three with other students from different universities and year levels. The event is held across the country and all the teams will be responding to the same brief written by our respected Creative Directors – Parisa Izadpanahi, Francesco Mancini, Reinette Roux and Ashleigh Taylor. It is also a great opportunity for you to engage with mentors from the architecture profession across the two days of studio time to discuss any ideas and proposals.

A selection of prizes will be presented to the winning teams from each state, who will automatically be added to the national shortlist. The national winning team will receive a cash prize of $3000.
