SA Architecture Awards
This year’s South Australian Architecture Awards has seen a strong field of educational projects flex their collective design muscle across a range of categories.
Chief among these is the Adelaide Botanic High School by Cox Architecture and DesignInc which this year won the Dr John Mayfield Award for Educational Architecture, the Robert Dickson Award for Interior Architecture and the Derrick Kendrick Award for Sustainable Architecture. Named awards represent the highest accolade in each category.
In total, the jury bestowed 40 honours with named award and award winners in each category now progressing to the National Architecture Awards announced 7 November.

Emerging Architects Prize Tour
Monique Woodward winner of the 2018 National Emerging Architect Prize will be joined by Alison McFadyen 2018 SA Emerging Architect for a night of conversation, networking and provocation on the topic MORE FRONT THAN MYER. The Emerging Architect Prize is Australia’s most prestigious prize awarded to emerging architects, celebrating an emerging architect making an exemplary contribution to architecture and the profession.
