WHAT DOES QUALITY LOOK LIKE?

Designing apartments is often based on client’s expectations and past successes but Samantha Reece of Australian Apartment Advocacy has taken a different tact, researching what buyers are seeking so that she can then inform the design process from a consumer perspective. Samantha will be presenting her 2019 apartment research results which secured 3312 responses, comparing QLD to NSW, Victoria and WA as well as sharing the types of amenities, public art, street interfaces that buyers would choose if they could design their own apartment. Consumer driven design is at the forefront of architecture and Samantha champions this approach across the nation.
